Pat claims that business was slightly slow at the beginning with the outside catering however worked well as he had the cafe to rely on and gave him time to adjust.
The mobile catering business shortly accelerated and Pat has now grown from one Trailblazer to a fleet of three. The 120 Mini Towable, 600s Grillmaster and 1200 Chip Trailer Conversion, along with owning a refurbished ambulance decorated in Trailblazers brand! (Pictured above)
“It was a slow build up, however as I had the cafes I probably didn’t push the mobile BBQ as much as I could nor should have.”
“It’s very busy now, the 600s is rented out every weekend without fail, both Saturdays and Sundays. We have also been using the 1200 Festival Chip Trailer every weekend since we got it.”
Pat claims “I don’t need to spend much time nor money on actually marketing the mobile catering aspect as the majority of business comes through word of mouth.”
